Super Easy Pie
(So easy, anyone can do it)

Get 2 Frozen Pie Crusts from the store. I like using Marie Callendar Pie Crusts.

4 C. Frozen Blackberries. **see below for details**
1 C. Sugar
2 level Tsp. Corn Starch OR 2 Tsp. Flour (its one OR the other)

Put Frozen berries in pie crust.
Mix Sugar & Corn starch (or sugar & flour) in seperate bowl with fork.
Sprinkle mixture EVENLY over frozen berries.

Put second frozen crust on top, it doesn't have to be pretty.
THEN
Cut slit in middle of top crust - an inch or so..or make a small design.

Place pie on cookie sheet in oven to save bottom of oven from dredded pie drippings.

Cook at 350 for 1 hour to 1:15 - you'll know its done because you can see it bubbling in the middle.

~Pie will be runny when you take it out of oven and will become more solid as it cools~

 TIPS From JIM
**If the berries are Tart, I use 11/4 C Sugar. Tart berries are Logan, Tay, TRUE Marionberries, Little Wild Jakes and the Wild blackberries picked in Washington in Sept-Oct, known as Evergreens.**

Waldos & Boysens I would use I cup of Sugar.

The ones Picked in August are sweet and are called Hymalayans...and I am not a fan of them for pies.
